My name is Claire Witz.

I'm an artist from Tunbridge Wells and have been painting for just about as long as I can remember.

In those dim and distant days before my two beautiful children and a mortgage, after a (brief!) stint at art college, I did a degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies and lived in North Africa, so I also paint personalised arabic artwork.

As the name says, I create all of my work with love, pride and attention to detail.  I use the best quality materials and paints and design my pieces carefully so that they'll be treasured in the years to come.

I also run the Tunbridge Wells Mums in Business (TW MIBs) networking group.

Commissions

I do lots of work on commission, particularly personalised canvases. I'm always very happy to discuss any ideas you might have for a piece of artwork so please do get in touch. Click here to find out more information about commissions.

You can see examples of my recent work in my galleries and buy some of my work online, but if you'd like to order anything please just get in touch.  I take payment either securely by Paypal or can accept BACS transfer. 

Events

I occasionally exhibit at craft fairs, children's nearly new sales, private parties and charity events in and around Tunbridge Wells. You can find details of them on the news page.

I spontaneously ordered a canvas picture representing our family for my husband's anniversary present. Claire helped me personalise it by suggesting she neatly paint all our names and dates of birth on the back. When a mistake on my part led to an error, she very kindly repainted that part of the canvas, without extra charge or even making me feel silly!
