1.  A few general things to note

Always made by me - Everything I supply will always be handpainted by me, myself and I in my Tunbridge Wells "studio" (on my dining table actually!).

Handpainted not mass-produced - My work is not mass produced so there may be minor variations between the examples on my site and anything you order.  This means that your artwork will be unique and can also often be tailored to your own requirements.

Little Extras – Please note that the Personal Message on Reverse option is subject to a reasonable length, which I class as up to 25 words.  If you would like anything longer than this added, I am happy to do so (if it will fit) but may request an additional fee - I will always contact you to check what you would like to do if this is the case.

Canvases – Please note that the dimensions are approximate and there may be very minor variations.

Colour matches – I am only able to guarantee colour matches for pieces which are ordered at the same time.

Art, not toys – It probably goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway) - all of my work is for "visual appreciation" only and should not be played with by children.

2.  How long does it take?

Please click here for up to date information about my current worload, time-scales and any holidays I might have which will affect order times.

3.  Returns

I take great pride in what I do and really want you to love anything that I paint for you.  However, in the event that this is not the case, I am of course happy to accept returns for certain items as follows:

- Any stock artwork which is not personalised and does not have a personal message “Little Extra” on the reverse.

To return an item, please notify me within 3 working days that you intend to do so and ensure that it is sent back to me within 7 working days in re-saleable condition.  Please obtain a Proof of Posting as I cannot be responsible for anything that goes missing in the post.

In these circumstances I am happy to either give you a full refund of the item cost (but excluding P&P charges) or exchange it for something else.

However, please note that unfortunately I can’t accept returns for any commissioned or personalised artwork, including those to which you have asked a personal message is added to the reverse UNLESS I have done something really silly like spelling a name wrong.  Please therefore make sure that you provide me with accurate spellings and dates where applicable.  I will take reasonable measures that we both have the same understanding in advance of starting work on any commission you might order.

4.  Payment

Full payment must be made before I start work other than by prior agreement in the case of certain commissions. Payment transactions are processed securely through Paypal, which also offers an excellent buyer protection programme for your peace of mind. I am also happy to accept payment by cash or cheque. I will only start work once your payment has cleared.

5.  Commissions

If we have agreed that I will undertake a commission to match something you already have and that you will send me a sample or item of some description to base the design on, I will of course take good care of anything you send.  I will return it to you on the agreed basis and will package it carefully and promptly, but cannot be responsible should that item be mislaid or damaged by the postmen.

Collect in person

If you live close to Tunbridge Wells or work anywhere near the Gherkin in London and would like to come and collect your artwork rather than paying unnecessary postage costs please purchase as usual (which will include my standard P&P costs), but notify me that you wish to collect your purchase and I will refund the postage accordingly.

Eco-Packaging

I like to do my "bit" where possible - any gift-packaging I provide (e.g. the gift boxes for wooden hearts and tissue paper) is made from 100% recycled material.

In terms of postal packaging - I will always re-use packaging wherever possible unless you specifically ask me not to.  It might not look as pretty as it could, but it will keep your artwork just as safe while it’s on its way to you and helps keep my P&P charges to a minimum.
